Synopsis
A gritty, white-knuckle, action ride set in the near-future where the sport of boxing has gone high-tech, “Real Steel” stars Hugh Jackman as Charlie Kenton, a washed-up fighter who lost his chance at a title when 2000-pound, 8-foot-tall steel robots took over the ring. Now nothing but a small-time promoter, Charlie earns just enough money piecing together low-end bots from scrap metal to get from one underground boxing venue to the next. When Charlie hits rock bottom, he reluctantly teams up with his estranged son Max (Dakota Goyo) to build and train a championship contender. As the stakes in the brutal, no-holds-barred arena are raised, Charlie and Max, against all odds, get one last shot at a comeback.

Kisah Dua Hantu

Tersebutlah kisah dua orang hantu. Mereka ni baru bertemu lalu mereka pun berborakla untuk mengisi masa lapang kehidupan mereka sebagai hantu. Sepanjang perbualan mereka, Hantu B ni tak habis-habis menggigil. Lalu, Hantu A yang kehairanan ni pun bertanya,

“Apsal kau ni asyik menggigil je?”

“Oh..cara aku mati dulu teruk..aku mati dalam peti ais…sejuk!!” Jawab Hantu B sambil menggigil lagi.

“Ooo..kesian… aku dulu mati sebab heart attack.” Kata Hantu A ramah.

“Kau memang sakit jantung kronik ye? Apsal ko tak gi buat operation? Kalau tak, sure kau tengah lepak-lepak ngan family kau sekarang.” Balas Hantu B.

“Dah,aku dah buat dah !In fact mase aku mati tu, aku in recovery. Panjang ceritanya…” jawab Hantu A sayu.

“Ceritala sikit..Sambil-sambil lepak nih..”

“Camni..Aku syak isteri aku main kayu tiga ngan aku. So this one day, aku ingat nak perangkap la isteri aku..Aku pura-pura gi keje tapi actually aku park keta aku kat simpang hujung umah aku je. Seperti yang aku syak, masuk sebuah keta kat carpark umah aku. Aku rilex dulu sebab nak carik mase sesuai tangkap diorang.”

“So, ko dapatla tangkap diorang?” tanya Hantu B penuh minat.

“Tak. Aku cume jumpe isteri aku je kat dalam bilik. Yang aku heran, mase aku masuk umah tu, aku nampak ade kasut laki kat pintu umah aku. Aku tanye isteri aku tapi die takmo jawab. So aku pun lari-lari sekeliling umah aku nak carik jantan tuh. Abis sume bilik aku carik tapi takde pun.. Last-last, sebab aku penat sangat berlari carik jantan tuh, aku pun jatuh pengsan sebab heart attack. And aku tak sangka aku mati lak…” kata Hantu A mengakhiri ceritanya dengan kesedihan.

Hantu B terdiam mendengarkan cerita Hantu A. Selepas beberapa ketika, Hantu B berkata,

“Kenapa kau tak check kat dalam peti sejuk? Kalau kau check kat situ, sure kita berdua still hidup lagi.

Synopsis:
When teenager Charley Brewster can’t get anyone to listen to him—not even his mom or his girlfriend—he takes it upon himself to get rid of the menace that is terrorizing his peaceful, suburban neighborhood in DreamWorks Pictures’ horror‐filled, fun ride “Fright Night.”

Fright Night is a remake of the 1985 movie of the same title (yikes, that movie is older than most of the Nuffies!) where mysterious disappearances begin to happen when a vampire moves in to a neighborhood. We know, with vampire movies there are sure to be chills and thrills… but seriously, doesn’t Colin Farrell look amaze-balls? It’s been a really long time since we’ve seen him in a movie that isn’t all action. Boys, this movie is a good mix of horror, humor and great looking actors for you to bring your dates! All the “BOO! BEHIND YOU!” moments will have them clutching your arm in horror! ;)

The Thing Movies Preview

It’s also the time all you fans of movies with supernatural beings and bloodthirsty monsters celebrate, because there’s no better time to enjoy a good horror flick where there’s every chance you’ll fling your popcorn bucket away in fright :P Well, United International Pictures Malaysia will be giving you horror fans a big treat in the month of October with a horror film extravaganza, kicking off with… *dramatic whisper* The Thing.

 Synopsis:

Antarctica: an extraordinary continent of awesome beauty. It is also home to an isolated outpost where a discovery full of scientific possibility becomes a mission of survival when a creature is unearthed by a crew of international scientists. In the thriller The Thing, paranoia spreads among a group of researchers as they encounter something inhuman that has the ability to turn itself into an exact replica of any living being.

Paleontologist Kate Lloyd (Mary Elizabeth Winstead) has traveled to the desolate region for the expedition of her lifetime. Joining a Norwegian scientific team that has stumbled across a ship buried in the ice, she discovers an organism that seems to have died in the crash eons ago. But it is about to wake up.

When a simple experiment frees the thing from its frozen prison, Kate must join the crew’s pilot, Carter (Joel Edgerton), to keep it from killing them off one at a time. And in this vast, intense land, a parasite that can mimic anything it touches will pit human against human as it tries to survive and flourish.

The Thing is an upcoming science-fiction horror film from Matthijs van Heijningen Jr. starring Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Joel Edgerton and Ulrich Thomsen. It serves as a prelude to John Carpenter’s classic 1982 film of the same name where the prequel concerns the events that happened back in 1982

Amin datang menemui dua orang sahabat baiknya Bakar dan Husin yang sedang melepak dengan kaki yang berbalut simen. Ini kerana dia baru sahaja mengalami kemalangan motosikal

Bakar: (Sambil ketawa tanpa simpati). Amin, lawanya ’stokin’ kau. Beli kat mana? Hahaha…

Husin: (Turut ketawakan Amin). Yela, Besar lak tuh. Boleh masuk 2 kaki sekali. Kahkahkah…

Amin: (Dengan muka sedih). Aku jatuh motor lah.

Bakar: Tu la… Kalau dah tahu kaki tu pendek tak payah lah gatal nak bawa motor.. Hahaha… (Masih lagi gelakkan Amin)

Amin: Tapi, aku jatuh pakai motor kau, Bakar…

Bakar: Tidak!!!.. TZM aku.. Kau kejam, Amin. (Dah menangis..)

Melihat kan keadaan itu semakin kuat pula si Husin ketawakan kedua-duanya.

Amin: Lepas tu pulak kan…

Husin: Ha ah.. ( sambil gelak…)

Amin: Aku terlanggar pulak awek kau, Rosnah. Sekarang tengah ICU kat hospital.

Husin: Tidak!!!… Awek aku..( Kali ini dia ni pula menangis..)

Moral: Jangan gelakkan orang.
